November Chapter Meeting - Mass of Remembrance & The Ceremony of Opening The Jubilee

Hello all!
At our next chapter meeting, we will be observing the Mass of Remembrance. This is a practice all Dominican chapters do in the month of November. In addition, the Province has asked us to pray the Ritual of Opening of the Jubilee. We will be praying outside before the Statue of Our Lady of the Rosary if the weather holds out, so dress warmly. We will be using the Dominican prayer books provided by the Chapel for the Mass and small song sheet that will be provided onsite. For our study, we will be continuing our discussion of Cardinal Kasper's "Mercy: The Essence of the Gospel and the Key to Christian Life." We will be reading Chapter 2. "Approximations." As a reminder, Kevin will be providing treats. Please bring canned goods to donate to a local food shelf. We will also be handing out materials for those interested in initiate formation.Â
Candidates (Tim and Naomi) will be meeting on 8:15 AM.
We will be meeting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Saturday, November 28th in the main office on 18th St. Parking will be on 18th street, instead of the parking lot. The address for Holy Rosary is: 2424 18th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Initiates and Candidates will be meeting at 8:15 AM. The regular meeting for everyone else is at 9 AM.
